For once… a recipe of my own! Brussels Sprout salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of brussels sprouts
  • 2 Shallots
  • 2 Green onions
  • Rice Vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper

1.) Drizzle a heated pan with oil. Slice the shallots in to long thin slices (dont make them too fine). Chop both bulbs of the green onions. Add shallots and green onions to pan. Fry.

2.) As the onions are frying wash the brussels sprouts. Make sure to cut the ends off. Chop the raw brussels sprouts. You can also use a blender to do this.

3.) Pour the shallots and green onions in a separate bowl. Wash the pan. Add the chopped brussels sprouts to the pan. Pour about 3 table spoons of rice vinegar. Stir for 3 to 5 minutes over medium heat.

4.) When half way cooked (still a little hard) transfer the brussels sprouts to the bowl that has the fried green onions and shallots. Mix together. Add salt and pepper to taste.
